Remember that nowadays, HIV treatment is so advanced that people with HIV live an active and healthy life, with a normal life expectancy. Being on treatment also means that the viral load becomes so low that it becomes undetectable, and untransmittable. It also means that people on effective treatment do not develop AIDS.
